I’ve just finished packing.
It’s about 10:30pm on a Friday night. I’ve got four weeks of clothes in carry-on luggage and I’ve never been more grateful that black goes with everything. I’ve got all my toiletries in those little 100ml bottles and probably haven’t got enough pairs of socks. I never have enough socks. When it comes to socks, I’m basically Dumbledore.
All of which is to say that I leave tomorrow morning for Europe, where I’ll be travelling for a month with my family. We’re going to Paris, Cork, London, Barcelona, and Rome. It’s ridiculously exciting but before then, we’ve got the flights. It’s a 9 hour flight to Singapore and then a 13 hour one to Paris. Or about 11 movies straight. (How did people fly without movies?? They’re either idiots or superheroes, I’m not sure which.)
I have no idea how much I’ll get to blog and update you on my travels — but look forward to lots of posts when I get back at least!
Please keep me and my family in your prayers.
I will be praying for you all.
Much love lovely people,
