What’s the First Friday Link-Up?
First Friday Link-Ups are monthly blog link-up dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
First Fridays are traditionally devoted to the Sacred Heart, when Catholics would receive Holy Communion as an act of love and reparation. So we thought, why not bring First Fridays to the blogging universe? This link-up is a small way for us bloggers to share the love of Christ and to help make the Sacred Heart loved by all.
How Does it Work?
It’s ridiculously simple.
Step 1: We both write a post on the Sacred Heart or the love of Jesus Christ.
Step 2: You grab the url of your post and link it up down the bottom of my post with the super easy linky thing.
Step 3: We both bask in the glory of your achievement.
What Should I Write About?
You can write about anything to do with the Sacred Heart and the love of Christ Jesus! First Fridays are the perfect time to set aside all the worries, plans, politics and stats — and return to the heart of our Faith, the Heart of Jesus who loves us unto death.
If you like structure, you could theme it around the liturgical year or the traditional devotion for each month.
January: The Holy Name & Childhood of Jesus

March: St Joseph
April: The Blessed Sacrament
June: THE SACRED HEART (woot!)
